How to Relax after you Have Had a Manic Week at Work

Two of the focuses of my blog are Career Discussion and Health/Wellness. While we all have to make a living, sometimes our work weeks can exact heavy tolls on our qualities of life. As such it’s important to understand how to manage your health under such circumstances. The following contributed post is entitled, How to Relax after you Have Had a Manic Week at Work.

If you feel as though things are just getting too much at work, then this may show that you need to spend some time relaxing. If you don’t then you may find that the stress gets worse and that you are unable to deal with it as well as you once could. If you want to get around this then you need to focus on giving yourself some downtime now and again.

Schedule Downtime

The first thing that you need to do is make downtime a specific goal. Schedule it into your daily schedule and also make sure that you give yourself 5 minutes from time to time. At the end of the week, you might also want to have a date night as well. Little things like this can really help you to achieve a true state of relaxation and you would be surprised at how much it could help you in the long-run. If there’s a show coming up, why not book no service fee tickets?

Disconnect

It doesn’t matter how you choose to unwind because it can be difficult for you to truly relax if you are constantly thinking about work. The first thing that you have to do whenever you leave the office is turn your phone off. You also need to make sure that you avoid bringing work home with you as well. After all, you deserve to have some “you” time and there is only so much you can put work first.

Take a Hot Shower

The best and easiest way for you to leave work behind you would be for you to have a shower or a hot bath. When you have a hot shower you can easily wash the tension away from your body. Water is known for having a calming effect on both the mind and the soul. If you want to get the best result out of your soak, then try and splash some cool water on your face afterwards. This will energise the cells in your body. If you are having a bath then light some aromatic candles.

Exercise or Take Part in Team Sports

Working off stress is always a good thing. Exercise will release endorphins and you cannot argue with science. Regular exercise will help you to feel more energetic and it will also help you to feel better about yourself too. The best thing about team sports is that they have a huge social element to them. If you prefer to exercise alone then a good playlist can always work in your favour.

Get out of the House

Being out in the open after being cooped up all day will really help you to relax and it will also better your mental health. When the weather is fine, you need to try and seek out nature. You don’t have to go much further than your garden either. A bit of fresh air will help you to unwind and it can work wonders for your overall stress levels. So when the sun is out, get a chair and put your feet up.

How Can You Get The Most Out Of Your Employees?

Two of the focuses of my blog are Financial Literacy/Money and Business/Entrepreneurship. In any business, a key is getting the most out of your employees. Getting the most out of your employees will assure your business stays open for years to come. They are more than simply workers for your purposes. There’s no denying that your employees are right at the heart of your business. Without them, it’s likely that the entire thing would come crumbling down pretty quickly. Far too many business owners simply think of their employees like one of many resources to be used to improve their business. But the problem with this attitude is that it forgets one very simple truth: your employees aren’t machines, they’re people. This might seem obvious, but it’s amazing how often it gets overlooked. People have needs and limits, and they can’t simply be expected to deliver amazing work time and time again with no support or reinforcement. With that in mind, here are some simple ways that you can get the most out of your employees.

Give them a positive work environment

One of the most common mistakes that a lot of businesses make is that they simply don’t think about the ways that they can really help their employees feel as happy and comfortable at work as possible. There are plenty of ways to do this. From making sure that your office space is as spacious and well lit to incredibly simple things like installing glass doors so that you break down some of the barriers between the different areas of your office. Creating an environment where your customers actually want to turn up and work is going to not only increase productivity but is also going to make sure that your employees are as positive as possible about your business at all times.

Provide clear goals

Nothing is more dangerous to productivity than employees who don’t know what they’re actually working towards. You need to make sure that your employees always know exactly what their goal is. Once they know that it’s their duty to figure out the best way to achieve it. Rather than focussing on hand holding and guiding them too directly, by providing them with clear, achievable goals you’ll be able to create an environment where your employees are able to take the initiative and find the best possible solutions. Over time, you may find that the best employees begin setting their own goals as they come to better understand the business and their place within it.

Support them

As previously said, your employees are not machines, they’re people, and people have their limits. You can’t only ever expect your employees to perform without also understanding that they require your support. It’s so important that you create an environment where your employees feel comfortable talking to you about things that might be bothering them, whether it’s in regards to their work, the people around them, or something about the company as a whole. By adopting an open-door policy then you create a culture of trust and camaraderie that will help to build incredibly strong bonds between you and your employees.

The reality of running any business is that without the right people, you’re never going to be able to get the most out of it. Your relationship with your employees must always work in both directions.

Why Our World Needs Social Work in 2020

A key focus of my blog is Career Discussions. While there is a current push for careers in the STEMs, one career that will always be needed is that of social work. Social workers do a lot of society’s “grunt work” as they tend to problems and issues down on the personal and familial levels. The following contributed post is entitled, Why Our World Needs Social Work in 2020.

* * *

Although society is improving more each day, social work is still important in 2020. Social workers stand up every day for human rights and social justice to help strengthen our communities. Social workers can be a voice for those without a voice, or those nobody wants to listen to. They help to tackle serious social issues, and can help to come up with solutions allowing people to live to their full potential.

Why Our World Needs Social Work in 2020

The Poverty Line
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, nearly 15% of Americans live below the poverty line. People living in poverty need social workers to help them cope with the overwhelming challenges of homelessness, unemployment, underemployment, and poor health.

Mental Illness
With that in mind, it’s also important to note that many families are suffering from mental illness. Around 20% of the US population are affected by mental illness during any given year. For people who struggle with mood disorders, anxiety, psychoses, substance abuse, and other serious forms of mental illness, social workers are imperative.

Child Abuse And Neglect
Social workers must also address broader social and public policy issues that increase the risk of child abuse and neglect, including poverty, unemployment, and homelessness.

While our world still very much needs social work in 2020, it isn’t always easily accessible for those in rural areas. The infographic below can provide more insight into social work in rural areas and what can be done.

Little Changes That Make A Big Impact On The Workplace

The first principle of my blog is Creating Ecosystems of Success and a key focus is Career Discussions. When you’re managing a workplace or a business, you want to make the environment as favorable as possible for your staff. Doing so will increase their productivity and overall happiness at work. The following contributed post is entitled, Little Changes That Make A Big Impact On The Workplace.

* * *

What’s the difference between a happy team and a miserable one in the workplace? Sometimes, it’s less than you might imagine. Humans are often driven by needs that are a little simpler and even trivial seeming, but ensuring they’re fulfilled can be great for any work environment. Here are a few examples to consider.

Photo by geralt – CC0 License

A little appreciation
You wouldn’t believe how few people get genuinely thanked for their work. A simple thank you isn’t enough, you need to acknowledge the role people play and why you value them in the workplace for them to really feel the effects. You might even make a little show of it with workplace trophies for your annual party or the like.

A real break room
It has been shown time and time again that eating lunch at your work desk is detrimental to your emotional health, to your productivity, not to mention that it’s pretty unhygienic. A break isn’t supposed to feel like simply taking the necessary time to eat at work, it’s supposed to feel like a clean break from work, and having a break room where people can do that, even with a few games or distractions, can be excellent at refreshing them for the latter part of the workday.

Tasty treats for the team
Satisfying the occasional need for indulgence and treating the team can have a big effect on morale and make them feel a lot more cared for and appreciated. It can be as simple as getting them a box of danishes to share, or you can go as far as installing a commercial roaster so they have fresh made coffee shop-quality coffee at the ready. It can do a lot to improve how well your team feels they are treated.

Some life to the office
Most steps to improve the office will have a significant effect over time, but perhaps one of the simplest and most surprisingly beneficial improvements is bringing an office plant into the environment. They are known to reduce stress, increase positivity, and boost creative thought simply by making the office a more lively and colorful place, and they may have some health benefits, such as helping with air quality and noise level reduction.

Team lunches, dinners, or drinks
As mentioned, a tasty treat improves morale, but enjoy it together can also improve the sense of belonging and togetherness in the team. Arranging for a once-a-week team lunch, once-a-fortnight team dinner, or once-a-month team drinks can help foster stronger social bonds in the team. This can make it a lot easier for them to feel comfortable when collaborating on projects for their work, as well.

The above changes to the workplace can have more of an impact than you might imagine, but don’t expect that any trophy or cup of coffee will make up for toxic management practices, unfair demands, or culture of bullying, for instance. If there’s rot at the core of the office, you still need to deal with it.

Thrown Off Your Career Path Without Warning? Here’s How To Move Forward

The first principle of my blog is Creating Ecosystems of Success and a key focus is Career Discussions. Unfortunately, some individuals find their careers disrupted, often without warning. It’s important to understand what to do if your find yourself in that situation. The following contributed post is entitled, Thrown Off Your Career Path Without Warning? Here’s How To Move Forward.

Most of us, as in those who are concerned with expanding our professional utility, skillset and career orientations, can often become truly shocked to the core when our path is thrown off. Perhaps a redundancy prevents us from raising the ranks in a career we’ve followed our entire life, and now we need to find work elsewhere, delaying that promotion for some time. Maybe we’ve realized that an industry path is not for us after 20 years working within that field.

Or, perhaps worst of all, we may find ourselves becoming injured or unable to work due to an accident, or workplace neglect, or safety standards failing. This last issue can be so debilitating, because not only does it knock our professional potential, but all other life progress for the time being. As far as that’s concerned, it can be worth knowing what your options are. Gathering yourself is key in these situations, as this process can provide you hope for the future.

As far as that is concerned, we’d love to give you some worthwhile and timeless advice in this direction. Please, consider:

Litigate If Needed

If necessary, it can be important to litigate. This can not only give you a sense of emotional closure, but it can help you protect yourself and claim the compensation you truly deserve. This can soften the blow of being out of work for a while, just as you recover from an injury or come back to your potential productive self. Go to lawboss.com to understand just what processes are best to follow in this light, and how you can approximate the best results with careful attention.

Understand Your Rights

Understanding your rights is also an essential part of this process to keep track of. It might be that you are entitled to workmen’s compensation, or disability, or job seekers allowance, or another form of support that enables you to look for further work. Sometimes, understanding your rights may even help you figure out that you were wrongfully terminated, and this may give you grounds to seek a renewed litigation effort. Understanding your rights can also enable you to search for worthwhile work, and avoid being placed into an unfriendly contract out of desperation.

If Returning To Work, Follow Best Procedure

When starting anew, no matter how unjust or unfair the circumstances may have been leading to this point, it’s important to apply humbly and understand how to follow best procedure. You may not be entitled a new job just because of being fired. Perhaps you need to prove yourself to a new employer before gaining work. Maybe reputational management can help you wipe off the layers of inaccuracy that can always occur in any dramatic change of social circumstances. Following best procedure, carefully, with humility, verifying your right action all the way, can help you once again structure your career in the best possible manner, even if you decide to start out on your own.

With this advice, we hope you can come back to your professional life with care and possibility.

The Right Mindset for Successfully Working for Yourself

Three of the focuses of my blog are Career Discussions, Financial Literacy/Money and Business/Entrepreneurship. While going into business and working for yourself is highly glamorized, there are stark realities to it. There are a whole host of aspects and responsibilities an employee doesn’t face. The following contributed post is entitled, The Right Mindset for Successfully Working for Yourself.

Transitioning from being an employee in the traditional sense, to “being your own boss” and running your own business, is certainly fulfilling and uplifting in many ways; but it’s also deeply challenging in many other ways.

While everyone generally likes to think of all the perks of being self-employed – things such as setting your own hours, and not having to be accountable to a boss you hate – there often isn’t enough attention paid to getting the right mindset and expectations in place, to actually make a success of the venture.

Here are a few mindset adjustments to make, in order to successfully work for yourself.

Everything is your responsibility now – so you absolutely have to plan and prepare accordingly

If you’re working as an employee for a large company, it is quite likely that such questions as whether or not the uniforms are made of antimicrobial scrub fabric, have nothing to do with you at all, unless your compartmentalised role within the company happens to be dealing with such issues.

When you are self-employed, though, everything is your personal responsibility – and you absolutely have to plan and prepare accordingly, on the assumption that no one else is going to swoop in and pick up the slack.

This means being as orderly as you can possibly be. It means having a very robust task and project management system, staying on top of your calendar, being punctual with appointments, and just generally being prepared every step of the way.

Your own level of discipline and grit will have a totally decisive impact on how successful you can expect to be

Being self-employed is hard work – and especially if you’re trying to create a new business from the ground up and make a success of it.

That being the case, you can expect that you will have to work long shifts on a regular basis, will have to push forward in spite of frequent frustration and disheartenment, and will have to exercise a level of grit and discipline above and beyond the ordinary.

The bottom line is that your level of discipline and grit will have a decisive impact on how successful you can expect to be. So, if you’re not ready to be your own taskmaster, you should probably either get ready quickly, or go do something else.

You are your number one resource and asset – so take your own health and well-being seriously

Although you will have to work hard and be organised, you shouldn’t fall into the trap that many self-employed people do, of running themselves absolutely ragged until a major “crash” results.

Remember that you are your number one resource and asset, and that you should be taking care of your health not only for its own sake (although that is, of course, self-evidently something you should do), but also so that you can continue to be the most productive and driven version of yourself at work.

What’s true for your physical health is true for your general well-being, too.

Eat good, nutritious food, make sure to get enough sleep, and have some fun when you can, in your free time.

Staying Safe When You Have A Dangerous Job

The first principle of my blog is Creating Ecosystems of Success. Two key focuses are Career Discussions and Health/Wellness. Not all jobs have the safety of working in an office setting with carpets, computers and cubicles. Some jobs require getting dirty and some degree of potential hazard. In the latter set of jobs, it’s important to think about your safety at all times. The following contributed post is entitled, Staying Safe When You Have A Dangerous Job.

No one likes the idea of being hurt when they are doing their job. Governments, businesses, and individuals have all been working for a very long time to ensure that workplaces are safe and secure, though this is something which some jobs make almost impossible. Unfortunately, some people simply don’t have the luxury of doing something safe each day. Whether you work as an industrial diver or as a security guard, though, you can always take steps to make sure that you’re not putting yourself at unnecessary risk. To help you out with this, this post will be exploring some of the steps which can be taken to make even the most dangerous jobs a little safer.

Following Policies

While a lot of the rules which you have to follow when you’re working may seem a little over the top, they are always there for a reason. Safety gear will protect your body from accidents, while policies which dictate how people are allowed to move around in dangerous environments will help to prevent them from happening in the first place, and this makes these rules well worth following. Of course, after a few years on the job, it will be easy to become complacent, and you may find that your employers have lost track of the policies they need to follow. In this case, researching the rules for yourself will be a good idea.

Working Together

Many of the world’s most dangerous jobs often end up being done by people on their own. This may not always increase the risk of an accident, but there are some roles which simply shouldn’t be done by people who are left to themselves. Truck driving is a great example of this, with a lot of accidents occurring when people are forced to drive for a long time without a proper chance to rest. Team truck driving jobs are considered much safer, as you will have someone with you as you drive, and this means that you won’t have to be focused for the whole journey.

Being Attentive

It’s not always easy for industries to put the right rules in place for their employees. While some companies manage to keep their teams safe, others will miss out on crucial areas, and this can often leave big gaps. Being attentive will give you the chance to spot these areas, and a little bit of creativity and initiative will help you to come up with ideas to make them safer. For example, if you have to work on wet floors all the time, it would make sense for your employer to provide you with shoes which are good for this environment. They can’t fire you for asking for this, with a lot of employers valuing this sort of input from their teams.

Keeping yourself safe should always be your priority when you’re at work. It doesn’t matter if you get your job done if you get hurt in the process, and the vast majority of employers will want to keep their team as safe as possible. To make this work, though, you have to keep your eyes open.

How You Can Level Up in Life and Career in 2020

The first principle of my blog is Creating Ecosystems of Success and a key focus is Career Discussions. Everyone wants to advance in their career at some point. Depending upon the sector you’re in, there may be some specialized steps that you must take while there are some universal steps as well. The following contributed post is entitled, How You Can Level Up in Life and Career in 2020.

As we move towards the end of the year, now is a good time to start reflecting. To consider where you’re at currently with your life and career, and where you want to go in the year ahead. Rather than waiting until new years eve and scribbling some meaningless resolutions, have a think now and really consider where you want your path to lead. In some cases you can start planning now so that when 2020 rolls around you’re ready to get stuck right in. Here are some examples of how you can level up next year.

Take on some further education
One of the best ways any of us can level up in life is by taking on more education. These days you don’t even need to quit your day job and go back to university full time, there are courses in every subject imaginable that can be studied from home and in a flexible way. Further education could help you to reach the next rung of the career ladder or secure a better job, or it could help you change careers if you want to do something completely different and not have to start right from the bottom. It could help you be a more clued up business owner, preventing silly mistakes being made. Education can just be good for your own satisfaction, as humans we’re curious creatures and often at our happiest when we’re learning new things. Once we finish our formal education in our teens we tend to get into a rut of working and stop expanding our minds. But this doesn’t have to be the case, have a think about what you’d like to study and find an establishment that offers the course. With lots of courses you may be able to start right away, but others will have September and January enrollment dates like traditional universities and colleges. That’s why it’s worth thinking about it now, as if you want to get started in January

Travel for (or while) you work
Travel is never a waste of time or money, it expands your mind, allowing you to make memories to last a lifetime and makes your existence feel worthwhile and interesting. But if you’re at a stage of your life where you want or need to focus on your career, it can be tricky to balance the two. So how about travelling for work, or even working while you travel? It allows you to see new places in the world and get all of the benefits of travelling for leisure, but with another dimension to it. Travel for your work can help you to build new connections and liaise with companies from different countries. Set up some meetings before you go, and use it as an opportunity to speak to potential clients face to face. Travel while you work can motivate and inspire you, if for example you create content in any capacity then doing so in new environments is going to spur on all kinds of new ideas. Don’t just overlook travel as something that’s purely a leisure activity, working alongside this can genuinely help you to level up in life, as well as in your career.

Level up your business
If you’re currently running a home based business, maybe you could consider speaking to a commercial realtor moving into a new office space? From there you could start hiring your own staff members, and growing your venture to improve your profits. If you’re already running a medium sized business, consider how you could level it up. Could you open new departments, could you invest in new software or could you start selling globally to allow your business to take that next step? Consider where your business stands currently and where it can go, make plans for growth and work out what kinds of steps you’ll need to take to get there. From there you can do what you need to do to ensure you’re moving forward and not remaining stagnant. If you’re still stuck in the rat race and have been considering starting your own business venture, then levelling up could be as simple as taking the first steps to getting this done. Look into securing funding, run market research on your idea and find good stockists and suppliers that you could work with. There’s a lot to be done in the early stages and the first part can actually be the most difficult. So once you’ve done that it will hopefully be plain sailing from there. Whatever stage you’re currently at with your business, consider how you will reach the next one.

Push yourself out of your comfort zone
As the saying goes, a comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there. Staying well within the confines of your comfort zone simply won’t allow you to level up- if it scares you then it’s worth doing! Maybe you’ve always dreamed of becoming a better speaker- taking a public speaking course and getting up there and giving it a go could be so satisfying even though tackling your fear head on can be scary. One way to push yourself out of your comfort zone is to highlight areas where you feel weaker in life or career and then start building skills to fill in the gaps. It might involve making mistakes, it might involve getting things wrong and feeling nervous or awkward but these are all signs that you’re trying something new and will improve over time.

Have you considered what changes you’ll be making next year to put you on the right path to reaching your goals?

How To Throw The Perfect Work Event

The first principle of my blog is Creating Ecosystems of Success. Two key focuses are Financial Literacy/Money and Business/Entrepreneurship. If you’re planning a work event, there are a couple of key points to think about. In addition to understanding what the work even is for, there are other aspects to consider such as cost, timing and theme. The following contributed post is entitled, How To Throw The Perfect Work Event.

* * *

Throwing a work event isn’t an easy thing to do. If you’re struggling to deal with the pressure of trying to throw the perfect corporate party, here are a few tips that should set you in the right direction…

Keep To The Budget
First and foremost, you must keep to the budget. Most companies have a specific amount of money set aside for functions, and if you don’t keep to that amount then the budget may be decreased for the next event you throw – and more to the point, chances are, you’ll get in big trouble and you won’t be trusted by your superiors in the same way again. Make sure that you carefully plan what exactly you’re going to do and what it’s going to cost, and while you shouldn’t scrimp, you should absolutely go for more cost-effective solutions.

Source

Have A Goal
When you’re planning an event, you need to have an objective in mind. What exactly is this event for? Is your business launching a new product? If so, then you need to make sure that product is front and centre and that everybody there know what it is and how it can be used. Make sure that you invite the right people – you have a certain amount of money to spend and if you’re spending that cash on people who won’t invest in the company, on journalists who won’t end up covering the party, or on inviting celebrities who don’t represent your brand effectively, that money has been wasted.

Source

Pick The Right Venue
It’s important to book the right sort of venue. First of all, consider size. Too big and the party will feel empty, too small and it will feel crowded. Is it the sort of party where people stay all evening or is it a launch when people will be drifting in and out over the course of the event? If it’s the latter, your venue doesn’t need to be too big. You should also consider transportation: if it’s in a hard to reach area of your city, chances are that people won’t bother to show up as much or stay as long. Finally, remember that venues that provide staff, food and drink, are much easier than having to organise those things separately.

Source

Be Cautious
You need to be careful with your party – make sure that there aren’t any people on the guest list who dislike each other and who you’ve seated close together, for example. People sometimes drink too much at these parties and if that’s the kind of exposure that you want, that’s great, but if not, make sure that the bartenders are poised to cut people off at a certain point. You could also hire a company like Titanium Security to make sure that everyone who attends is supposed to be there and that any trouble is cut off immediately.

Finally, remember to keep talking to people – the purpose of these functions tends to be to network, to swap business cards, and to make connections, so ensure that everybody feels welcome and happy – and have a little fun as well!

A full-time income on part-time hours revisited part one: An exciting business opportunity for you!

“Remember to keep an open mind and get some new information!”

Two key focuses of my blog are Financial Literacy/Money and Business/Entrepreneurship. I originally published this series back in November of 2013 when I wrote for the Examiner. Of the businesses that the average working-class person can get involved in, none are more controversial than “Multi-Level Network Marketing” businesses (MLMs). I bought into a MLM when I first started my federal career which was a learning experience. It sounded like a good idea at the time but didn’t go quite as planned. This series talks about what I both experienced and learned during that little experiment.

* * *

This next series of articles will veer off the path of scholastic education and literacy, and venture into the world of financial literacy. This series will look at Multi-Level Network Marketing businesses (MLMs). It’s an subject area rarely explored in print, but one which we’ve all experienced through personal participation, being recruited or being sold a product or service by someone else.

These business models and the people involved with them are already highly scrutinized, thus the intent of this series is not to do more of the same. The goal will be to simply take an objective look at them from multiple perspectives: the business associate, their prospects, friends, relatives and coworkers. As a writer, my goal will be to be fair in my commentary.

This topic will potentially touch multiple people. It’s particularly relevant in this era of recessions, further potential government shutdowns and sequestrations where people are being forced to consider alternative ways of earning income. Again, the goal here is not to sway anyone to a particular side, but simply to educate readers curious enough to read this series.

“Hey man, I want to talk to you. I’ve been watching you. You look like a serious brother, and I have a business opportunity to turn you onto,” a bus driver told me at the beginning of my commute one morning. “I don’t want to drive this bus forever, and I want to make some real money! Take this brochure and if you text me your number, I’ll invite to one of our meetings so you can get some more information!”

I could hear some contempt in his voice, particularly about having to work his job which was interesting. It raised a couple of questions in my mind. Why would someone feel contempt about working their job? Why would someone feel contempt about working a job? Why would someone feel resentful about having a paycheck? Many would say that there’s dignity in working. We’ll revisit this later in one of the subsequent parts of this series.

Besides being surprised that one of the metro bus drivers ‘prospected’ me for recruitment into his business, it brought back memories of my own experiment with Multi-Level Network Marketing. Just briefly, Multi-level Marketing is a marketing strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of the other salespeople they recruit.

What made this bus driver prospect me? And what made him consider me a “serious brother?” It could’ve been my regular ridership on his route most mornings. Perhaps it was my “serious” appearance and disposition that made me seem like someone who could effectively work in his business and help he and his colleagues achieve their financial and life dreams.

My thoughts reflected to the many network marketers encountered during my travels in person and on social media, and what their motivations were. My motivations at one time for participating in one were: becoming rich, taking advantage of business tax breaks, and being able to walk away from my job.

Since 2005, multiple opportunities have come across my path. The first was from an Indian man in his late 20s in a supermarket late one night just before I moved away from Michigan. After striking up a friendly conversation with me about my life and aspirations, he started talking about an ecommerce business he was involved in. He encouraged me to learn more about it and to, “keep an open mind and get some information,” common phrases used by prospectors. Have you ever experienced anything like this?

Since then there have been numerous offers to participate in businesses involved in ecommerce, financial counseling, travel services, weight loss/health products, legal advice, organic coffee, and health care services. The list goes on. You name it, and someone has gotten it covered.

At their informational meetings, most if not all the network marketing businesses had elaborate presentations, and marketed dreams of:

• Financial independence;
• Making multiple residual passive income streams;
• Walking away from 9-5 jobs;
• Taking vacations whenever desired;
• Making your own schedule and;
• Making a full-time income on part-time hours.

This topic will be examined in greater detail in the subsequent articles. People’s motivation for joining this type of enterprise will be examined in part two of this series.
