Convenience is the name of the game when connecting to modern consumers. If you can easily offer your services, products or events, you’re more likely to generate interest. The best part is, you need only consider your own patterns as a consumer to understand how to best pivot your own brand.

For example, many chip and PIN payment providers, and now increasingly online stores, will accept Apple and Google pay for easy payments. This way, no customer ever has to take out their card and input their information to onboard with your software, they just have to give a couple of personal details and an email address.

That said, sometimes, it’s worth considering how convenient your conveniences themselves are to use. For example, the first time anyone walked into a Subway, they had to conform to the ordering process, understanding its step-by-step approach, in order to onboard with that convenience and ultimately appreciate it. Many other companies copied that package and moved with it.

So, let’s consider how to make conveniences, convenient, without diluting your brand. Let’s start, below:

Utilize Apps & Software Integrations

It’s important to utilize apps and software integrations to the extent that you can, not only within your internal systems, but as part of how you present yourself to your audience. Of course, this is only the case if such software can be suitably applied to how you deliver value. For instance, an excellent hospitality app can take the tired effort out of the ordering process, reduce mistakes, and also improve customer turnover throughout the day, potentially improving profits. This way, you can add convenience without detracting from the overall experience, and empowering your customer.

Setting Customer Preferences

When a customer or client can set their preferences with your brand, they’re more likely to return to it. That might sound obvious, but the time it may take to filter out products or services, you don’t want can be tiring enough for a customer to just stay with you. From offering modularity in terms of the packages they subscribe to (scaling up where appropriate), to remembering ordering information or simple preferences like color or filter type, this lessons the conversion time between lead and purchase most efficiently.

Security Seamlessness

It’s essential to ensure security and verification is convenient and helpful, not restrictive and tiresome. Of course, many of us are frustrated when our bank blocks a transaction until you reply to the “was this you?” text with an affirmative, but at least that process is simple and easy, and allows you to try again, safe that your money wouldn’t have been stolen in the event of a card theft. Voice activation to verify customer accounts, integration with smartphone security measures like Face ID, and even two-factor-authentications can make a big difference here. With a little care and consideration, you may help reduce fraud while also showing how confident your business is.

With this advice, you’re certain to make conveniences, convenient, not only offering ease-of-use because it sounds good, but truly making good on and thinking through those systems.

How To Successfully Plan Your Itinerary For A Family Vacation

Two focuses of my blog are Financial Literacy/Money and Health/Wellness. Vacations are important for our health and wellbeing. Properly planning them out is important though. The following contributed post is entitled, How To Successfully Plan Your Itinerary For A Family Vacation.

Planning a family vacation is an exciting thing to do. However, the success of your family vacation largely depends on the activities that you plan for it.

This is why you need to make sure that you plan out your itinerary carefully for your trip. Planning your itinerary requires some special consideration. Here is a look at the best way to go about doing it.

Start With Your Budget

Having a clear budget is the best way to start planning your itinerary. There is very little you can do without a proper budget. Once you know how much money you can spend at any given time throughout the trip the easier it will be to plan your itinerary.

Make sure you plan out your source of funding and how you will access it while you are on your trip.

Make a List

Make a rough draft of all the places that you want to go while you are on your vacation. Once you have created your list, you can then check out all the prices you will need to pay to visit these places.

Consider how much you will pay for transportation and accommodations where necessary. Taking all these things into consideration will help you to narrow down your list based on the budget that you have already created.

Choose the Right Season

You need to select the season that is best for you to travel. Remember, that most travel destinations have what is known as a high season.

This high season happens around summer or Christmas time. These are some of the most exciting times to travel but they are also the most crowded at the airports, and also at your destination.

If you don’t like crowds and value your privacy then the low season is probably best. It will be a lot more relaxing, but in some destinations, the weather may not be as great as in the high season.

Do Your Research

Before you start planning your itinerary you need to do your research on the location where you will be going. Find out about the safety of certain locations that you are interested in visiting.

Research the transportation options that are available, For example, you can get a Louisville charter coach co if you are in that area to you to make your trip a comfortable one. If your vacation is out of the country you need to know where your country’s embassy is located and also the nearest police stations to the places you will be visiting.

Having all this knowledge will ensure your safety and security.

Start Planning

Having a firm understanding of your budget, the places you want to visit and how much it will cost are important factors when considering your budget.

Deciding on the right season for your vacation and securing proper accommodations is a must. Also, consider your safety and security as well when planning your itinerary. Doing all these things will ensure that your vacation is a good one.

How To Make Your Skin Feel Good

A key focus of my blog is Health/Wellness. One of the keys to your personal health is the wellness of your skin. The following contributed post is entitled, How To Make Your Skin Feel Good.

* * *

Everywhere you look there is a magazine that gives you an article about skin care. It will talk about Botox and microdermabrasion, how to cure redness and how to get rid of blushing. Skin care is at the forefront of everybody’s minds, because we all need to have good skin care tips to help us to flourish. The skin care tips usually point to doing the right thing for your skin. It will talk about cleansing correctly or moisturizing deeply, toning regularly and applying the right oils and serums to your face along with face masks. It’s a lot of work and it’s exhausting, and if you don’t have time for this much self care it can feel like a chore rather than a privilege. These are all things that may be great for the health of your skin but they might not feel too good when you’re doing them.

Being able to put your skin care routine in the hands of people such as Dr. Mendez and Dr. Salloum is the smart thing to do. Skin care routines become tiring and we seem to do the same things on repeat every day without being aware of the results. So, it may be that you’re turning to other solutions to make your skin feel good in a way that you can see it straight away rather than having to wait for weeks to see results of a serum you started using. Of course, these are the things you can do in addition to your existing skin care routine and you can spice it up a little bit. You want to make your skin feel pampered and nurtured, so here are the tips that will help you to do that.

● Baby, it’s cold inside. While you may not like the feeling of the cold air hitting your cheeks, you may love the feeling of cold spoons or ice cubes. You can grab them straight from the freezer and it can relax and rejuvenate your skin pretty quickly. If you pop some steel spoons into your freezer at night time, you can then put them onto your eyes in the morning to reduce puffiness and exhaustion. It will instantly lift you up and make your skin feel more awake, fresher and looking lovely. You could even do the same job with an ice cube by rubbing it all over your face to inject that shot of energy that you need to wake up in the morning. The best part is that you also minimize your pause, which will be really helpful when you do your makeup routine.
● Reduce your current skin care routine. If your current routine is very elaborate with oils, lotions, potions and serums, you need to cool it a bit. Minimize your ritual to the following three: cleanser, toner and moisturizer. This may have been something you saw female relatives used for years, so now you need to jump on board. Keep the serums, masks and oils to just once or twice a month as a top up rather than something you do every day. Being able to cut down your current skin care routine is really going to help you stick to it.
● Get a facial. When you apply a moisturizer, it can feel really nice to smooth it across your skin and give yourself a facial massage. Booking yourself into an oxygen facial or to us targeted aromatherapy facial is a whole other ball game. You’ll be so surprised to see how much of a difference it can make in reducing the puffiness of your skin and increasing the blood circulation to the surface. Your skin will feel relaxed and calm, and that’s something that you could really write home about.
● Get your sweat on. When was the last time you did a workout that made you actually sweat? A little exercise can do wonders for the skin, and when you sweat it out you release a lot of toxins. Washing your face afterwards but not in the shower can help you to feel naturally revived and cleansed. You can pick any sport or activity of your choice here, it doesn’t have to be something that forces you to do cardio!

It’s never a bad idea to take care of your skin if you have the means to do so. Making sure that you are keeping your skin looking fresh and revived is going to keep you feeling confident and looking gorgeous. Focusing on your skin care will help you to appreciate the way that your skin looks.

How Community Involvement Will Benefit Your Small Business

Two focuses of my blog are Financial Literacy/Money and Business/Entrepreneurship. There are several keys to succeeding at business. One big one is community involvement. The following contributed post is entitled, How Community Involvement Will Benefit Your Small Business.

Community involvement in the form of social responsibilities is a powerful tool that small businesses can use to boost their success. Research shows that 82% of consumers consider corporate social responsibility when investing in a brand. These roles help shape local economies, and your business success will also depend on strong connections with your community. Community involvement is one of the best ways to foster strong connections where your business actively engages with the locals. Here are four ways this step will benefit your small business.

1. Increases employee morale

Believe it or not, tasking your employees with various community projects can boost their morale. While it may sound counterintuitive, some research has proven this point. For example, according to a survey by UnitedHealthcare, 71% of employees feel better about their company when participating in community activities. They reported high job satisfaction when participating in various volunteering and charity work. And this encourages them to be more engaging with work.

2. Attracts local talent

According to some experts, small businesses that play an active role in their communities often attract high-performing and talented local workers. The best talents want to work with the best businesses. And local community involvement will build a positive company image for which the best minds will love to work. The best employees care about who they work for and what image their potential employer promotes. Engage your small business in the community, and the right talent will show up to your doorstep ready to work for you. That means you’ll significantly cut down on how much you spend on scouting and recruitment.

3. Shows your company’s commitment to making a difference

Helping your local community through charity, donations, and volunteering is an excellent way to showcase your company’s commitment to the locals. You can consider partnering with local non-profits, donating a percentage of your sales, or creating special programs to support the less privileged in your community. It tells your local customers and prospects that you’re not all about the money and that you genuinely care about the people. That will help create a strong sense of camaraderie, which will drive sales for your business. The locals will view you as one of their own and become loyal to your brand, allowing you to dominate the local market and ward off competing businesses. Your loyal customers will promote your business to other prospects through word-of-mouth advertising. And this leads to the final point.

4. Generates positive word-of-mouth

Community involvement can also lead to positive word-of-mouth marketing for your small business. When you participate in local events and support local causes, you can easily receive recognition and praise from the community, leading to increased social media mentions, local newspaper reports, positive online reviews, and recommendations from satisfied customers. And with word-of-mouth marketing being one of the most effective forms of advertising, you’ll be able to attract more customers. That’s because more people are likely to trust recommendations from friends and family than to believe in above-the-line marketing and traditional advertising.

Top Tips For Maintaining Your Family On A Budget

A key focus of my blog is Financial Literacy/Money. Maintaining a family can be a challenge financially, but it can be done with deliberate and smart spending. The following contributed post is entitled, Top Tips For Maintaining Your Family On A Budget.

* * *

Home maintenance is likely one of the most significant expenses you’ll encounter throughout your life, whether you’re repairing the damage caused by storms and bad weather or trying to keep up to date with the latest trends and styles.

In fact, a recent report found that, on average, US “households spend $2,335 on home maintenance each year,” which can quickly add up over time. Given the fact that the cost of living is rising in just about every state, it’s important that you’re able to take a more budget-friendly approach to maintenance – which is where this guide comes in.

Photo by Theme Photos on Unsplash

With that in mind, here are some simple yet cost-effective tips for maintaining your family home!

Stick to a regular cleaning rota. One of the easiest ways to maintain your dream home is to keep it clean and organized. This is because it stops the build-up of clutter, dust, and contaminants throughout your home, which could cause some serious damage over time. As such, you should try to do some cleaning each day before carrying out a deep clean every few months.

Don’t ignore the warning signs of major issues. Major home maintenance tasks often start as minor ones, which you may initially disregard. However, this only gives them time to worsen, which often means more extensive (and expensive) repairs are necessary. For example, if your home’s foundation is cracked or damaged, you need to contact companies that install seismic retrofits, as this can help ensure your foundation is up to code. This is particularly important if you live in areas that fall into hurricane zones.

Seal any gaps in windows or door frames. Small gaps in your windows and door frames could lead to various problems within your home. For example, they could serve as an entryway for pests or simply allow heat to escape, meaning your heating bill increases. Thankfully, this can easily (and cheaply) be remedied using sealants, which can be caught over the counter.

Avoid microtrends. When carrying out maintenance tasks that change the appearance of your home, such as repainting the walls or installing new features, make sure the changes are something you really love – and that you’ve not fallen for a microtrend that will quickly fall out of style. For example, while some home decor trends, such as minimalism, are likely to stand the test of time, others fade away quickly, and you don’t want to be left with a room that you’ll hate in a couple of months!

Become a DIY pro. While some duties should be left to the professionals, like plumbers and electricians, there are many other home maintenance tasks that you will be able to handle yourself. However, this may mean that you need to take some time to develop some basic DIY skills to familiarize yourself with the tools you are using and the task at hand. This will ensure you won’t actually cause any damage to your home when trying to fix things. Simply put, the better you get at DIY, the less you’ll have to spend on home maintenance, as it eliminates the need to hire someone to do the tasks for you!

How To Stay Safe Whenever You Get Behind The Wheel

Two focuses of my blog are Health/Wellness and Technology. Cars a technologies that we all used and are dependent upon in the modernized nations. The can be hazardous though and should be handled with care. The following contributed post is entitled, How To Stay Safe Whenever You Get Behind The Wheel.

* * *

Did you know that there are approximately 6 million car accidents in the USA each year?

This is a frightening statistic – something that is worth considering each time you get behind the wheel. After all, this knowledge could help you to keep yourself and others safe by making you more aware of the hazards around you.

Photo by Erik Mclean on Unsplash

With that in mind, here are some simple ways in which you can help to make the roads a safer place.

Keep you eyes on the road

Distracted driving is one of the most common triggers of a car accident, which means that you must ensure you remain focused throughout your journey – even if it is a short trip you have completed hundreds of times before. That is, you should not allow a sense of familiarity or comfort behind the wheel to allow you to become distracted.

As such, you should also ensure that you never use your phone when driving – which remains one of the dumbest mistakes people make behind the wheel. If you’re often tempted to glance at it, try to put it out of arm’s reach or away each time you get behind the wheel.

Understand how to respond to an accident

Understanding what to do in the event of a car accident can also be useful, especially as you may not think rationally in the moment if you do not have a predetermined plan of action in place. After all, its easy for stress to take over in this scenario.

For example, you should always ensure that you turn on your hazard lights and that once you get out of your car, you stand out of the way of direct traffic before calling the relevant authorities.

You may also want to do some research into local car accident lawyers, so that you understand the legal proceedings that follow an accident, regardless of whether or not you are at fault.

Take care of your car

Taking good care of your car can also help you to stay safe on the road, as it means you are less likely to encounter faults that endanger yourself or others. As such, you should inspect your car at least once a week for signs of damage, such as chipped windows or deflated tires.

You should also ensure that you understand the basics of good car care. For example, you should make sure that you change your car engine oil regularly, as failure to do so could permanently damage your engine. Not only could this mean that you break down on the side of the road, it could also be rather expensive to fix – which is less than ideal in the current economic climate!

Keep your cool

Road rage can also be a determining factor in car accidents – which means it’s important that you’re able to keep your cool, no matter how other motorists behave. Remember that everybody is frustrated when facing long lines of traffic, but it’s better to get somewhere safe than to encounter problems along the way.

Whenever you find anger rising, try to take a few deep breaths. Turn on some calming music, and stay focused – remember, you’ll be at your destination sooner than you think.

Top Mistakes That Retail Businesses Make (& How To Avoid Them)

“With the advent of the internet and eCommerce, setting up a successful retail business can be something of a challenge.”

Two focuses of my blog are Financial Literacy/Money and Business/Entrepreneurship. As with any business sector, retail has it’s own caveats and nuances. There are also mistakes to be avoided. The following contributed post is entitled, Top Mistakes That Retail Businesses Make (& How To Avoid Them).

* * *

With the advent of the internet and eCommerce, setting up a successful retail business can be something of a challenge. You must pursue vigorous product testing to ensure your products are worthy of customer investment. For instance, using hardness testers could be all it takes to ensure your metal products are of high quality and durable.

Not investing in sufficient security

One of the most significant problems that retail business owners come across is that they fail to invest in sufficient physical security for their premises. Unfortunately, this means that there are a variety of things in their business that are at risk.

The first of these is their inventory which is vulnerable to theft, or vandalism. The second is their staff which could be placed at risk during a break-in or feel less safe at work, which in turn could negatively impact their morale (see the section below for more on this).

Lastly, the reputation of their business is at stake, especially if they are subject to multiple and repeated break-ins as customers may begin to doubt their safety when visiting.

The remedy to this physical security problem is to invest in items such as an advanced alarm system, CCTV camera, and sturdy doors and locks. Some stores even ensure that their premises are monitored by security teams around the clock, so if there is any suspicious activity they will be alerted immediately.

Ignoring inventory management

Another major problem in retail is when owners and managers discount the importance of inventory management. Indeed inventory management is crucial to success for several reasons. The first of these is that without proper inventory management, you can’t offer your customer the best possible experience. Secondly, poor inventory management can cost your business a great deal of money in wasted time and effort, because your staff are out the back searching for items that are not in the correct place instead of assisting customers.

Fortunately, there are several ways you can improve inventory management in your retail business. These include using the latest software to manage your inventory as an expert in the field Jasdeep Singh CT advises. Indeed, by using the best inventory management software you can not only improve your customer’s experience but ensure your retail business stays as agile as possible, changing with the current trends, and optimizing your profits.

Not valuing staff morale

A major issue with retail businesses is when they do not value their staff morale. The issue here is that unhappy staff will usually provide a subpar experience for any customers they serve and this can have a profound impact on how much they buy.

With this in mind, doing the right things to keep the morale in your business high is essential. However, this does not mean forced smiles and fake motivation sessions. Instead look at things that can make a meaningful difference to your staff including dental and medical care, flexi-time, and paid holidays, as this will help you create an authentic positive atmosphere, as well as help with recruitment and retention, and limit burnout.

Things You Don’t Know You Need For Better eCommerce

A tremendous amount of business is conducted today via eCommerce. There are several pieces you need to successfully conduct business this way. The following contributed post is entitled, Things You Don’t Know You Need For Better eCommerce.

Improving your business methods and, indeed, your site for better eCommerce means the difference between a successful platform and a failing one. But there are many parts to your business than just your website. Here are some things you don’t know you need to use.

Surety Bonds and Insurance Policies

Surety bonds and insurance policies are often confused or thought of as the same thing. While insurance is necessary for business, it covers you for damages, loss of products, consumer issues, and employee time off. And all of these are useful for offsetting major costs. However, surety bonds are different and work more like credit for covering an unforeseen event. For example, make sure you don’t lose money if another party backs out of an agreed contract.

Support for Your Customers

You should always be looking for ways to make your eCommerce experience better for your customers. This includes making changes to the interface, offering what your customers want, and even sourcing honest reviews. But it also extends to providing top-notch service in the event something goes wrong, such as a failed delivery, defective product, or payment mishaps. Live Chat and Chatbots are useful. But you should also provide a phone number and email.

AI Can Help with Better eCommerce

You will have heard of artificial intelligence. But far from movies and killer robots, most AI today consists of useful apps and code that can help you in many ways. For eCommerce specifically, AI can help you boost sales by collecting data and recommending products to customers in a more personalized way. You can also use AI to automate boring tasks like sending out signup emails and even chasing customers for payments using useful reminder emails and messages.

A Marketing and SEO Strategy

If you are fairly new to online business, you may have heard of SEO but aren’t sure what it is. And if you are established, you should have some knowledge of it. The good news is you don’t need to be an SEO expert to use it well. Search Engine Optimization takes advantage of keywords in your content in its most basic form. But you can also use it in product categories and product pages on an eCommerce site. Digital marketing agencies can do SEO for you.

More Ways for Customers to Pay

It’s almost fair to say that we are headed to a cashless society. Less than half of people in countries such as the UK now carry cash at all times. Instead, people are using card payments and digital solutions. Your eCommerce platform will accept cards as default. But you can enhance your customer experience by offering alternative payment methods. These include digital wallets such as Google Pay. But also cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Summary

A better eCommerce experience relies on several things. You need surety bonds and insurance. But you can also use AI, SEO, and marketing, as well as offer more ways for your customers to pay for their goods. In essence, you need to constantly update your user experience.

How To Choose The Right Commercial Office Space

Two focuses of my blog are Business/Entrepreneurship and Workplace Discussions. Depending on the type of organization your are running, the type of commercial space you have will be critical. The following contributed post is entitled, How To Choose The Right Commercial Office Space.

* * *

Choosing a commercial office space is typically an exciting thing to do for many small businesses. Commercial office space is a signal that there is enough profit to support more people on the team and a space to run the business. Although not everyone wants commercial office space in the current climate – for some businesses, it makes sense for face-to-face client meetings.

Photo by Adolfo Félix on Unsplash

But how do you select the right office space for your needs?

Where?

The location of your office is going to have a significant impact on your team and your clients. You need to have good public transport links and access to parking as a minimum. It is also worthwhile looking at the stores and places to eat in the area too. Long-term business success can ride on how easy you are to get to.

Safety

Safety is a two-fold thing when it comes to your commercial office space. The first is that you need the building itself to be safe, and the only way to know for sure is through inspections for commercial buildings. You will get a copy of the report that will outline everything you need to know, things to be aware of, and what to change.

The second is the safety of the location itself. An office space that has an incredible price but is in a location that has a crime rate isn’t ideal. Depending on the impression you are trying to give and the customers and clients you have, you might need to pay a little more for something that is a safer place.

Who?

Initially, the office may only need to have space for under ten employees or even fewer. You’ll need to decide if you want to have room immediately to allow for the growth of the business – or are you prepared to move office again when that point arrives?

Choosing an office size that supports your current business and long-term goals can take time and effort. There is also a balance to be found between the cost of running the office and how many people are in it. If you have immediate plans to hire, then pick somewhere that has enough space to do so.

You can run a hotdesk office in combination with hybrid working – allowing you to have a smaller office space with bookable desks. So only when people need to take face-to-face meetings will they need to be there.

Networking

If your office is in a building that has nothing nearby, it can be isolating for your team and you. Being surrounded by other companies gives you a chance to network and get to know those around you. Networking can be incredibly beneficial to smaller businesses – so take a look at the other businesses around you – could there be collaboration opportunities?

When looking at commercial offices, you can either lease or buy – and your budget and long-term plans will dictate that. However, if you choose to rent the office, make sure that you understand everything that is included.

Here are some considerations to make sure that once you have selected the office, you get the best from it: Healthy And Sustainable Practises For The Office.

The Importance of Giving Back in Life & How You Can Do It

Two focuses of my blog are Creating Ecosystems of Success and Money/Financial Literacy. A secret to wealth is giving. It is secret that is both beneficial to the giver and the beneficiary. The following contributed post is entitled, The Importance of Giving Back in Life & How You Can Do It.

There are many things in life that we really need to be doing, but don’t always. There are also so many different causes in the world that need our attention, and it can be great for us to try and make an effort to get involved in them. But even when we know this, it can still be quite difficult to know what to do and how to do it. One of the greatest parts about this is that it could be something that really goes on to add a lot of value to your life. We all deserve to be happy and fulfilled in life and philanthropy can really bring that alive. In this blog post, we’re going to take a look at why it’s so important and how you can get involved.

Why Philanthropy is So Important

The world isn’t equal. Some live in luxury, some live in poverty. Then we have those fortunate to be in great health, while others are suffering. Because of this, giving back and looking to help out others can be invaluable to the people that need the support. Whether you’re an individual or a business, you may find that you could make such a difference by turning a hand to philanthropy.

Philanthropic Efforts in the World Today

You may not know it, but there are so many things going on. Sure, we hear about Cancer Research and PETA, but there are so many causes out there doing great things. Take this Navy SEAL Foundation Robin King interview, or the environmental work by Greta Thunberg. It’s so important that these people are making a difference in the world and raising awareness for important causes. It often goes on to have a ripple effect at a smaller level too.

Making a Difference in Your Local Community

Now, maybe you’re thinking that you’re not quite at that level yet, so maybe it doesn’t apply to you? But the idea here is to take some of the efforts in the world as inspiration. When you look at what others are doing and what can be done, it might just inspire you to make a difference on your own level. For most of us, that can easily be done in your local community. There will always be someone or a cause that needs you, it’s all about seeing what you can get involved in and getting started.

Support a Cause Close to Your Heart

And finally, you always have the option to give back to a cause that holds a place in your heart. We all have things that we care about in life, but we don’t always know that we can make an impact. Whether it’s world hunger or a medical cause, you can donate from afar, look to get involved in fund-raising events, or even head out onto the front line to help. It’s all about making the choice to start.
